We, Manouk and Tjeerd, have always had a passion for vintage and exploring cycles and markets; on the hunt for the finest pearls. Another shared passion of ours is Scandinavia; during one of our motorhome trips through Sweden, those two passions came together and we discovered the many lops you have there, including the beautiful design of the many Scandinavian furniture.
Vintage and Scandinavian design
Our love for Scandinavia has only increased! So we love the fact that our work sometimes takes us to the most beautiful places in Scandinavia and elsewhere. The hunt for the perfect furniture is something that has never felt like work to us, and we love the fact that we can now also buy the most beautiful and unique items for others, and refurbish them where necessary.
How it began
In 2021, Charmig was born. However, we never actually started Charmig with the intention of starting a shop with it. Charmig originated as a hobby that got out of hand, what started with refurbishing some furniture soon turned into a living room full of vintage furniture that rapidly found a new owner. Soon, this no longer fitted and grew into a 500m2 warehouse in Veenendaal full of vintage and design!

About Charmig
Charming means 'lovely' in Swedish. We offer a gathering place for the most picture-perfect vintage furniture and accessories. When purchasing from Charmig, you can expect the item to be in perfect vintage condition; we expertly refurbish all furniture before giving it a place in the webshop and warehouse. In fact, some furniture is almost in new condition again! But still with that little bit of character from back then. Because that's what we love about it, all the stories that go with this furniture.
Passion for vintage
Our items are now being ordered by people all over the world. We continue to find it special that the items we have selected are sought after by people all over the world and that this furniture, having already lived through a whole history, is going to do it again in a completely different place.
